the screen type of Razer blade 18 2025 dual mode

Could someone from Razer please answer this easy question? 

I have found one single reference online that says its an oled screen on gamerant

But every retailer I asked tells me they dont know…

This hiding of information is very fishy, it seems its a normal ips panel and thats the reason they are not defining it but put the dual mode stage and center…

Unfortunately this would make the laptop completely uninteresting to me and I would very much prefer the mini led from last years model...better resolution too

Someone on reddit said it was an IPS panel. Waiting for a source. It is really strange that Razer is ignoring this. If it’s an IPS, I think I might retrurn my laptop the day I recieve it. I’m not sure what to do. 

The reason I think it is an IPS panel is because of the noted response time in Razer’s announcement of the Blade 18. They said it’s 3ms. OLED’s are sub 1ms, usually around .1ms.  I’m not happy but I can always return it. Then I’ll have to settle for an Asus or MSI which really sucks because I love Razer… but this is a 5 year deal for me and I want OLED. 

Well, I’ll put myself on pause again. ASUS 18” is running a mini led panel and it’s at 3ms. Razer could you throw us a bone and let us know whats going on with your 18” panel? 

I think it would help if Razer made a youtube video explaining their choice of screen for the Razer Blade 18 2025

maybe look into MSI Stealth 18 (Very similar in specs, a bit slower gpu tdp), similar look, 4k mini led or asus rog strix scar 18 (same power, decent muted look, qhd mini led)

I cancelled my Razer, looking at the MSI titan 18 hx

Somebody from Razer called me today and asked me if I changed my mind and I said no. 

It blows my mind that Razer did not tell us what type of panel they are using for the Blade 18 2025. 

Crazy.

I love my blade 17 from 2020… but I can’t buy something if I don’t know what it is. 

Its an Oxide TFT-LCD. The panel is NE180QAM-NZ1 produced by BOE
