The Serial number does not match the Product number

As the title of the post suggest when I try to register my Razer Viper Ultimate or Charging Dock on the RazerID website I get the same error which says "Item serial number does not match product number" now i've tried everything I can think of even having 2 different people try imputing the serial number and product number just in case I was missing something like putting "0"'s instead of "O"'s but to no avail I purchased this mouse on the 24'th of may and I haven't been able to register at any point if anyone knows a workaround or explanation it would be appreciated
