There is no THX / 7.1 activation code included when I purchased the headset.

Hello Razer Support Team,

I purchased a Razer headset in 2024 (Razer BlackShark V2 Pro 2023). However, when I opened the box, I did not receive any activation code for THX Audio or 7.1 Surround Sound.

Currently, I can only use the headset through Razer Synapse, and I’m unsure whether my device includes THX Spatial Audio by default or if I am missing a license key.

Could you please clarify:

  • Does this headset require a separate activation code for THX or 7.1 Surround Sound?

  • If so, how can I obtain or retrieve the activation code?

  • Or is THX Spatial Audio already integrated and activated via Razer Synapse for this model?

Hello palamsbumer,

Please be informed that the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) comes with the THX Spatial Audio via Razer Synapse by default. It does not come with, or require, a separate THX Spatial Audio or 7.1 activation code or any additional purchase. To use and configure THX Spatial Audio on your headset, please follow the steps in this article link https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/13209 as your guide.
