THX Activation: Headset not eligible?

I have just purchased the Blackshark V2 Hyperspeed headset simply because I wanted the THX side of things. However, I now find out, despite the headset being listed as one of the devices which can use THX Spacial Audio AND it also states in the manual to activate the software, why do I receive the message as in the image below.

I don’t want any of this “it’s THX Enabled” rubbish. I want to be able to use the THX app as I expected to get.

If this headset doesn’t support it, despite stating it does, which ones in the list actually DO have an activation code for THX?

A bit hacked off, this is not made clear ANYWHERE; not even in their own manual!

Hello there, @adelphiaUK!

The 7.1 Surround Sound is totally different from the THX Spatial Audio. The Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed comes with THX Spatial Audio and is integrated within Razer Synapse. To activate it, see How to configure THX Spatial Audio for headsets. Feel free to reach out via PM along with your headset’s serial number if you need further assistance.
