Since the last update of Razer Sypnase 3, I cannot configure my THX, nor does the light on the controller turn on without problems. If I press the buttons, it reacts in the program. I also cannot configure the 7.1 as I could do before by zooming in or out. the sounds according to my taste in the circle since with this new interface there is no option, these errors have occurred to me with this new interface since yesterday's update on the 06th I attach a screenshot of how it looks to me now apart from the fact that it no longer works correctly the thx since although it does respond to the buttons I don't have light or sound to prove it like before

Same problem with Nari Ultimate. The update made all functions unusable, no matter how much I reinstall Synapes.

If I reinstalled the sypnase several times and in fact if I don't update to this latest update the program doesn't even recognize my headphones anymore.... I have tried another method that I used before when the option " thx special" which was deleting a windows registry and other steps but I didn't fix it either so I don't know... sypnase 3 with 7.1 + thx headphones is very intrusive and ends up leaving them without function; and I tried to install the program dedicated to thx but at the time Razer itself told me that it was not necessary since topo was now used by sypnase 3, yesterday I tried but it does not even recognize the code that came with the headphones, and I am clear that it does not I am going to pay €24 for a program if I see that this continues like this I will end up buying other 7.1 headphones from another brand because I cannot be fighting with the program every time it is updated... it is very frustrating

******UPDATE OF MY POST*******

I have tried one thing and that is to download this program https://www.razer.com/thx-spatial-audio it has 15 days of trial but after those 15 days if you want the program you have to pay for it... so to do I downloaded and installed it for a test. After following the configuration steps, I went into the Windows sound settings (left click + sounds on the speaker next to the clock) miraculously, activating the sound through thx spatial appeared as I could before in Razer Sypnase. 3 but I still don't have light on my kraken tournament telling me that thx is working.... what is the problem? Once I uninstall this program, the configuration that I choose in Windows for thx spatial disappears and I am back to how I was before.... This program is free for 15 days after those 15 days the program costs €25.... I am not going to pay for this program since when I bought my headphones the thx worked perfectly even yesterday before the update they also worked well... if when I bought them someone had told me that I have to pay in the future to be able to enjoy this technology I won't have them anymore I would have bought...

I only see the thx spacial speaker option as it did before the last update with this program installed, if not with sypnase 3 it only does not appear, the Windows sound configuration only disappears when I uninstall the program, the update Yesterday I ruined everything in my headphones, I don't have a green LED on my Kraken Tournament controller, nor do I have direct configuration in Windows for thx spatial audio output.... apart from the fact that the configuration of the headphones is what I show in the image above There is only one equalizer in the app that I mention is paid, it is where the dot in the middle appears as before and you can regulate all the surrounding sounds… Every time there is a big synapse update something happens with the sound and the thx is already heavy for having paid €83 for headphones

I also have the same problem with Kraken TE. Hope it gets solved soon because I also cannot update the Synapse with the error code 1603. It is so annoying.

maybe need just reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Files

I didn't have that error code, but it seems to be a razer sypnase problem. I found a fairly extensive thread on reddit with quite a few people and the same problem in different types of headphones that have thx technology. I don't know how long it will take for razer to fix this, but what? You can't even enjoy 7.1, it's quite frustrating... they should do something with their program since for me, at least on keyboard and mouse, they work quite well in headphones, just as other people fail me a lot... I will never buy again razer headphones

because for you I don't understand... Razer should say something about when they are going to fix this at least on Twitter instead of making posts as if nothing was happening... they didn't give me the headphones and they weren't cheap. to have them in a box without using

Same issue with V3 hypersense , no thx audio output option , sounds like garbage now.

  1. Uninstall Razer Synapse,
  2. remove folders:

    - C:\Program Files\Razer
    - C:\Users\V\AppData\Local\Razer
    - C:\ProgramData\Razer
     
  3. Download https://dl.razerzone.com/drivers/Synapse3/win/DriverCleanup.zip and run this tool as administrator,
  4. after complete cleanup reboot Your computer (unplug all razer devices after clicking on reboot lol)

    Done! 😎

That is half fixed, I have Kraken Tournament and I don't have an LED on my controller either, but the buttons do respond if you open the program and press the thx key you see that in sypnase it also moves to thx but it is not really working because I have games that are compatible with this technology and I have tested it... apart from that if you go into sounds through the speaker next to the clock and follow the path right click + sounds / playback / razer audio controller - game / configure / you will see that The only thing you get is stereo, nothing like 7.1, so this doesn't work well.

Same issue, You would think a company like Razer would be on top of this, or at least test the update before they release it… This is awful.  Praying for a Fix by MW3 release time, if not, Buying a new headset.  Highly disappointed.

FOR PEOPLE WHO WAIT WHILE THEY GET AN UPDATE.
You can download the thx spatial audio app, it is a paid application but it has a 15-day free trial, with this application the thx spatial option will appear again in the Windows speaker and once you go to Right click on the speaker / sounds / it will appear again in the thx sypnase set so you can also configure 7.1
I have it like this and although I don't have an LED signal on my Kraken Tournament controller it works for me since this app brings the trial version of the helicopters that are no longer available in sypnase in addition to the point in the middle with the speakers around it that also removed from sypnase.
I REPEAT. It has a 15-day trial, installs quickly and configures in a minute

There is a new update that I show in the screenshot, in my case it has not fixed anything, I even tried to uninstall it again and reinstall it, no problem, I had to put the thx spatial audio program back in, which I still have with my trial version but it just got me There are 12 days left, this is the only way that works for me... those days are exhausted and I will go to other headphones from another brand.... Corsair has models that accept Dolby Atmos sound, which also sounds very good and Icue works much better since it I use it for all the lighting on my PC... I'm not going to pay for a program even if it costs half the price when I've had free thx for two years…
