THX spatial audio will not allow individual app to run as stereo

I have the THX spatial audio enabled, and it sounds incredible in my games, but I want my browser to run in stereo. I already tried to add the application to the Games and Programs list and manually set it to stereo mode, but that does absolutely nothing. I have tried the same with Spotify, but it refuses to run any other application as stereo. I can set the sound of all applications to stereo and that works, but it will not play individual apps in different modes. Does anybody know how to fix this? I have the Black Shark V2 Pro, and am using Synapse 3.

I forgot to mention that sometimes it does work, but it tends to randomly switch between keeping the specific applications stereo and making them spatial. I dont seem to have any control over when or why it keeps switching.
