THX surround sound box extension feeding static to mic

hey, I bought a razer kraken tourney edition around a year to 2 years back. I recently began receiving static in the mic output and when I unplugged the headset from the usb to audio(the THX surround sound box) and into the front panel on my PC it fixed the issue but my audio quality is of course at a lower standard and I am not able to use the razer software as I'd like as far as I can tell. Does anyone have an idea as to why this was leading static into the mic. I would understand more if it was feeding it to the headphones for me but it was the microphone that was having the issue

      Hey there! Thanks for posting your concern here. Does the issue happen while connecting the 3.5 to USB adapter to a different port or computer? Have you tested the headset to other programs or software? Also, if you are using a Windows 10 computer, please disable Windows Sonic by following the steps below and see if it helps a. Right-click the speaker icon b. Click Spatial Sound and select “Windows Sonic for Headphones” to enable it. c. Select “Off” here to disable Windows Sonic

      I have tested the mic with different connections, I have tested it with different software. Windows Sonic is already off. the only solution I have found is pretty bad(connecting 3.5mm to front panel causes a lot of delay and some audio issues due to poor grounding). this is part of how I managed to seperate the issue to just the 3.5mm to USB.

      Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate the steps you've done so far. Also, were you able to test the headset to another device or computer with and without the 3.5mm to USB adapter or a computer/device without a Razer Synapse installed to rule out hardware over software issues?
