m using a Razer Blade 15 Late 2020 (i7-10750H, GTX 1660 Ti) and recently started having issues with the touchpad—it's not responding properly, sometimes it's jumpy or doesn't click accurately.

I opened the laptop and noticed the battery is slightly swollen—not too bad, but there is a visible bulge.
Could this minor swelling be the reason for the touchpad malfunctioning? Or could there be other hardware/software causes I should consider?

If I replace the battery, will that fully fix the issue? I really love this laptop and want to restore it to good condition. Any advice or similar experiences would be really appreciated.

Hey there, @TASVEER77!

I understand you are having battery swelling issues with your Razer Blade 15. No worries, let me help you! The slight swelling of your battery is indeed the most probable reason for your trackpad malfunctioning. Even a minor bulge in the battery can put pressure on the underside of the touchpad, leading to responsiveness issues, jumpiness, or inaccurate clicks.

Since you've opened the laptop, this action typically voids the warranty of your device. However, don't worry, I can certainly arrange an out-of-warranty repair for you. Just to set your expectations, Razer will assess the device to determine the exact cause of the issue and confirm the necessary repairs. We'll then send you a repair quote via email, which will include the cost of parts, shipping, and labor. Please note that all charges are subject to applicable taxes.

Please let me know via PM if you'd like to proceed with setting up this out-of-warranty repair. Thank you!
