Transplanting Razer Tomahawk Prebuilt | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hey there.

I have the pre-built Razer Tomahawk mini PC and I have been having major issues with it since I've got it. I have had to send it in for RMA 3 separate times and it still overheats if I try to run any games that were made in the last 3 years. I am not longer able to RMA as the warranty is up and I am now running into heating issues that I thought were solved.

Has anyone had any luck transplanting these PC parts into a different case?

The major issue I am running into is the cooling and I'd like to get this into a case with some real cooling. I have cleaned this PC multiple times, checked all the connections to make sure that they are connected properly and no matter what it just seems like the fans do not do enough work.

Since it has the Intel NUC, this is where I am finding the most issues is all the cases for this type of CPU are the tiny PCs and I don't really want another tiny PC case.

I am at my wit's end with this thing. I really don't want to have to built an entirely new PC since I bought this one. It's my first time buying a pre-built PC and this has been absolutely miserable.
