Trying to install Additional M.2 SSD on Blade 15 (2020)

I installed a second Samsung SSD on to a Blade 15 basic 2020 motherboard. Physical install was quick & easy into the second M.2 slot but on power-up, the Blade doesn't recognize the second SSD. The last SSD upgrade I did was a SATA on an old Dell so I'm out of my depth & very likely doing something wrong. Please help.

OK, Folks - nevermind the request for help. I forgot to allocate & format a 'simple volume'. All I can say is I'm old & it's been awhile.

Hey man, do you just install the new ssd and boot up? will it show? or do I need to do something else?
