Trying to sort out controller issues but cant find firmware

The controller I have is the Wolverine V2.

The issues I’ve been having lately is that any input using this controller causes FPS to dramatically drop and has even crashed games. It has even resulted in my PC just outright shutting down. I’m certain it’s the controller input after trying my keyboard and mouse in games. Now I’d like to try updating the controller, but no matter where I look, nothing seems to be able to update it. I’ve tried the Razer Controller Setup for Xbox, it doesn't come up on synapse and there isnt anything on the razer site. Am i forced to get a newer controller or have I just missed something?
