Turret for Xbox mouse battery not charging properly

Hey there. Have had 2 Turret for Xbox keyboards and in both the mouse does not fully charge. Just left it plugged in overnight and this morning is showing at 30% battery level in synapse. Is this a synapse problem or a mouse battery problem? Also, the lights on the keyboard start flashing very erratically when synapse is open. Thanks. Sean
