Hey @everKellyGreentruck759,

Let me check on it. Is the dongle still detected in the Device Manager? Can you send me a PM with the serial number of your headset together with your location/country so I can verify it in our system and go over our inventory?

Hello everKellyGreentruck759,

I’m sorry to hear that your Razer Barracuda X dongle suddenly stopped working. To help us isolate the issue, please try the following steps:

  1. Make sure the USB-C wireless dongle is firmly connected to your PC/console/phone (or USB-A via the included adapter, if you’re using it).

    • Try a different USB port to rule out a port issue.
  2. Test wired mode

    • Connect the headset to a PC using the 3.5 mm audio cable (if available) and check whether you get audio.
    • If possible, also test with another device (PC, phone, console) to see if the issue is the same everywhere.
  3. Charge the headset

    • Fully charge the Barracuda X for at least 2–3 hours, then try using it wirelessly again.
    • Check if any LED indicator lights up when you power it on.
  4. Power cycle the headset

    • Turn the headset off, wait about 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
    • Confirm if you hear any power-on sound or see any status light.
  5. Check device audio settings

    • On the device you’re using, make sure the Barracuda X is selected as the default playback/output device and that the volume is turned up and not muted.

If you’ve tried all of the above and the headset still doesn’t work both wired and wireless, please send me a PM with the device serial number and proof of purchase for warranty validation.  Have a good one!
