Hi everyone
I am trying to consolidate my setup by using a single dongle for both my Razer BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed (Phantom Edition) and my Razer Pro Click Mini. However, I am facing a "Device not found" error in the pairing utility regardless of which dongle I use as the host.
Here are the specific details of my devices and the current situation:
Device Information:
-
Mouse: Razer Pro Click Mini (Firmware: v1.1.0.0)
-
Keyboard: BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed - Phantom Edition (Firmware: v2.3.1.0)
-
Software: Razer Synapse 3 (Latest version)
The Issue: I have tried the pairing process in both directions using the Hyperspeed Multi-Device Pairing Utility, but neither works:
-
Scenario A (Mouse Dongle as Host): When using the Pro Click Mini dongle, the utility cannot find/detect the BlackWidow V3 Mini to pair.
-
Scenario B (Keyboard Dongle as Host): When using the BlackWidow V3 Mini dongle, the utility cannot find/detect the Pro Click Mini.
Troubleshooting steps taken:
-
Both devices are strictly in 2.4GHz mode.
-
Both devices are unplugged (wireless mode active) during the scanning process.
-
I have tried moving the devices extremely close to the dongle during the scan.
-
Both devices work perfectly fine individually with their own original dongles.
My Question: Is there a compatibility limitation between the "Productivity" line (Pro Click Mini) and the "Gaming" line (BW V3 Mini) regarding the multi-device dongle support? Or is there a specific firmware update required to bridge these two specific models?
Any advice or confirmation of compatibility would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
