Unable to run Security updates from Razer | Razer Insider

Hi and thank you for reading my post.



I'm having trouble running the updates listed under 'Intel security updates' from the Razer Support pages. The same goes for the 'Single Click Updater' under 'Drivers & Downloads'.



Most of the installers starts by displaying the message "This firmware tool is for use only with Blade and compatible system." from which the only option is to close the installer. One installer doesn't seem to start at all. Please see the attached file for screenshot.



I'm running a fresh install of Windows 10 Home edition on a Razer Blade 2016 RZ09-01952 and have tried starting the updates with 'Run as administrator'.



Does anyone have any similar experiences or know what could be the cause/solution here?

Are you still experiencing the same issue? Please let me know through PM and provide the serial number of your laptop so I can validate its model specifications. I may need to start a case and forward it to the Software Team so that they can check the error.
