Unable to update Synapse 2.0

I've added Synapse 2.0 update app to the "allowed apps" in the firewall.

Windows Defender is not showing it as a threat. I don't know what more to do there.

Every time I boot up the computer I get a notice there's an update. If I tell it to update, it shows an update progress to 100% completion. No sign it's not updating, or hasn't completed.

Every time I start Synapse 2.0 and click on the tiny gear icon, an update app pops up, I "check for updates" and I get a confirmation there is an update to install, and that it will take about five minute. I click "Update Now" and it acts like it is installing something, it completes in about ten seconds, no sign it failed, other than it fails, and the Patch Notes repeat over and over:

-Razer Synapse Framework
-General bug fixes and performance improvements.
