Hello!, my name is (*Personal information omitted). I’m a passionate gamer and a long-time admirer of your products due to their quality, functionality, and of course, their design. Razer has become one of my favorite gaming brands.

I am writing to request technical support for an issue I’ve been experiencing with a recent purchase. On September 19, 2024, I bought a Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro Hyperspeed Wireless mouse via Amazon. I was immediately impressed with its ergonomics, light weight, minimalist aesthetic (I prefer no RGB), and overall performance. Without a doubt, it is the best mouse I have ever owned.

However, for the past two months, I’ve been experiencing a failure in the left-click switch, which frequently performs unintentional double-clicks when pressing normally. This issue has significantly affected my performance in both gaming and my professional work in graphic design, where precision is essential.

I have followed all the troubleshooting steps provided on your support website: https://mysupport.razer.com, but unfortunately, none of them have resolved the issue. I believe this confirms that the problem is hardware-related, specifically with the switch itself.

As of today, August 14, 2025, the mouse has not yet completed one year of use, and therefore, is still within the warranty period. (bearing in mind that it is a product with a two-year warranty)

I am not requesting a refund or a full replacement, but if possible, I would appreciate technical assistance or a replacement for the faulty switch. I believe that a product valued at approximately $70 USD should not present such failures within 10 months of use.

I remain a loyal fan of the Razer brand. I currently use this mouse along with the Razer BlackWidow TKL keyboard, and I manage both through Razer Synapse, which offers excellent compatibility and customization.

Thank you in advance for your attention, and I look forward to a positive resolution to this issue.

Hi dArkieRazer! Are you referring to this model? If yes, try checking if the mouse firmware is updated. Does the issue occur in all programs installed on your PC, and even when browsing the internet using different browsers?  Please try closing or disabling Synapse and see if the issue persists. You can test the mouse by plugging it into a different USB port or a different PC and resetting the mouse in the Razer Synapse settings to see how it performs. Feel free to send me a PM should you need further assistance.
