Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)

I bought a Kraken X USB headset 2 days ago and it was working just fine on my PC. Yesterday it stopped working and now all I get is an error saying the USB Device is Unknown. I tried using it on a different device but I got the same error.

    I Googled the issue, I tried all the solutions I could find but none of them worked. I also tried using it on 2 other laptops and still I couldn't get it to work. I took it in and even the techie couldn't get it to work. I had it replaced and guess what... Problem solved!
