Unresponsive Joystick on Kishi V2 Pro

A few days ago I bought a Razer Edge (Wi-Fi). The left joystick does not register vertical (up and down) inputs. The firmware was updated to 2.2 within the Nexus app, and the  system update tells me that my system is up to date (Android version 12, security update June 1, 2024). I’ve searched the forum for similar problems and none of the solutions seem to make a difference (such as changing the accessibility options),

The problem persists in all situations: multiple native Android games, as well as Geforce Now (opened through Nexus as well as opened through the stand-alone Geforce application).

I used "Game Controller Tester" from the Google Play store (developer: POW Games UK) and every button press registers correctly, as well as every axis on the right joystick. The left joystick only registers x-axis input (left to right). Up and down do not register at all.  All directions on the D-Pad work perfectly.

This suggests to me that this is an issue with the hardware itself.

What would the next step be? I absolutely love the size and feel of this controller, as well as the Edge device itself, so I am feeling very let down by my first-ever purchase of a Razer product.

I just got the Kishi V2 off amazon, and I’m having the same issue as you, to the letter. Gamepad tester shows no registration of input on the Y axis of the left controller. Haven’t even had it a day either, which is frustrating.

Same issue here. Up/down analog does not register. Only had it for about a week.

Mine has the same issue straight out of the box. Very disappointing

Here’s an update: I went ahead with a rather frustrating RMA process, in which I was required to physically break the defective Kishi in half! It’s a bit of a gamble because I’m not very convinced this controller is very durable - but I really like the form factor of the Edge and it fits really well into my use-case as a more portable companion device to my Steam Deck.

I’ve had the replacement for a couple of weeks and it’s working very well. Fingers crossed that it doesn’t develop any issues.

I have the same issue with the V1 I've had it for about a year now had no issues with it went to bed woke up tried plugging it in and the left side joystick and trigger just don't work now if I plug it in with a charger it literally flips out both joysticks are saying they're moving all over the place all the buttons are being pressed down and I'm not even touching their controller
