USB-C - monitor no longer works


Hi all, I have a Razer Blade 15" (Mid 2019) - Advanced Model For the past 6 months I have used a usb-c monitor (Dell S2719DC) with my laptop and all has been well. Until two days ago when I turned the laptop on and the monitor is no longer working. The error is: Display connection might be limited Make sure the DisplayPort device that you're connecting to is supported by your PC. I've tried all the stuff I could find online, updated drivers etc. But to no avil - any advice?

Does the external monitor work when plugged into another machine? If so, the port in question may have already failed. In that case, PM the serial number of your laptop so I can help you submit a repair ticket.

yes the monitor works via usb-c to my MacBook Pro. The monitor also works when plugged into my razer laptop via hdmi so it does appear to be the usbc I think I did a support ticket Can you check I’ve done it ok?

yes the monitor works via usb-c to my MacBook Pro. The monitor also works when plugged into my razer laptop via hdmi so it does appear to be the usbc I think I did a support ticket Can you check I’ve done it ok?
It could very well be a USB-C port issue, but please PM me the ticket number so I can check things out.
