So i used the razer kraken for some time and they where great but a few weeks ago when i tried to use them the second i used the mic like in discord all of my usb ports would stop so i put it down to the headset gave up on me.



So i ordered the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition and to my surprise its doing the same thing the headset works great all the way up until i use the mic in windows or discord in fact to even get it to work i had to lower it to 2 Chanel 16bit 32000 Hz radio quality the mic will not pick up anything above this.



The steps i have tried are as follows



Clean install of windows from ISO (Microsoft website) with updates

Different usb ports front back and even into my razer keyboard

Bios update

All up to date drivers



I am not sure if this is down to a windows update as i have seen a few posts of people having the same issue in the past few days.



Its a strange one as it was working great on 44100 Hz since i bought them and even the new Razer Kraken Tournament Edition refuse to work on 44100 Hz
