Using a Ripsaw and Synapse 2 on Windows 10

I inherited an older Ripsaw (Model #RZ20-0178) and would like to try to use it to capture and stream myself gaming on my Windows 10 PC. It seems to require the older Synapse 2. However when I install that, the device still does not appear. Its light remains red no matter what I do. The UI seems to indicate that a red light indicates bad drivers. But even this isn't clear. I'm willing to patiently work with this old hardware and software. But I'm not sure where to begin. It's no longer under warranty. How can I debug further what is wrong? If it matters, my PC video card is an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Ti. I suspect this is some kind of drive incompatibility. But I assume that the Cortex software is supposed to detect and solve such problems for me...?

Ensure you follow the Razer Ripsaw's setup from our online guideline found on this link. If you are using an OBS Studio, right-click the Ripsaw "Scene" and change video settings from "default resolution" to "Custom" and see if it helps.
