Dear Razer Community,

I am interested in purchasing a Razer BlackShark V2 X headset with splitter, but I have a question about using it on Linux. I understand that Razer Synapse is not supported on Linux, but I am wondering if there is any way to enable the 7.1 surround sound feature on the headset using Wine or another third-party software.

In a second option, I am open to other recommendations for headsets that have built-in 7.1 surround sound and that work perfectly with Linux.

They're all dead here my friend. After a year noone is alive to respond. Such a small attention for the customer need from such a 'leading' global company. Hmm.

OpenRazer supports configuring RGB settings for many devices, but no audio controls.

Yup, but OP mentioned Blackshark V2 X which is an analog headset so it’s not synapse or openrazer compatible :)

You can try to run 7.1 Surround via Wine, but noone gives you warranty that it’ll be working correctly.

Surely they recognize that people are dumping windows 11 now because of the forced crap and Linux is becoming the norm…  I mean, they know that a Steam box is coming, right?  That’s linux, and so is Bazzite, which gamers are flocking to...
