Using the Core X Chroma with a Custom PCIe Board
I chose the Core X Chroma as an enclosure for my custom full length PCIe card. It is not a graphics card.
when I insert the card, close the enclosure, connect the power cord and throw the switch - nothing happens.
Will the unit only run off connected to a PC?
Will it only power up if a specific type of graphics card is detected?
I know the fancy lights won’t work unless it is connect to a Thunder bolt PC. But will it not even power up unless the cable is connected?
