Viper Ultimate battery life stuck at 4%

So in Synapse is says that my mouse battery is at 4%, when I plug the mouse in for charging it does the charging animation in synapse but it never moves from 4% even after an entire night of charging. It keeps thinking it low on battery, even though I can use it for hours. I have tried a clean reinstallation of Synapse as showed in the guide didn't help, switched USB port didn't work.
