Viper ultimate Mouse wheel not working

Hello, I responded on someone elses thread with the same issue and have not heard back from support in days. Just got my Viper ultimate wireless mouse for Xmas. And mouse wheel stopped working after 2 days. I have done the items below and Deinstalling reinstalling. Scroll does not work on the mouse but in Chrome/IE if i mouse wheel click i can use the mouse wheel to slide up and down the page. So it doesn't appear that the mouse wheel itself is broken. Scroll wheel does not work in any application by itself. "Did you follow the steps here? Please perform the following: a. Go to your Razer Synapse 3.0 settings by clicking the gear icon at the top-right corner, then reset the mouse located in the side menu. b. Replicate the issue by signing out from Razer Synapse 3.0 and logging back in as a guest user. I'll wait for your follow-up."

Yes. I followed all the steps I listed and in the Quotes from another Official Support. none were successful
