I’ve had this mouse (RC30-030501) for a few years, so it’s not under warranty. Today it just started emitting a high-pitched whining noise. My understanding is this is “coil whine”. All the discussions I have found on this topic seem to conclude with “if it’s under warranty, then RMA”. There does not seem to be any acknowledgement or suggestions offered for what to do if you’re not under warranty. I can’t even contact Razer support since they don’t offer a method of contact for customers outside of warranty. The mouse seems to work fine otherwise, but the noise is driving me crazy. Please can someone tell me what I can do to resolve this?
