Hi, I have a viper ultimate mouse and the area on the left where the grip tape is has worn out, is there a solution for this?

Only apply 3rd party grip tape like THIS
Does that grip tape stick over the original? Or can you remove the original and put this one?
You can apply them on top of original, because original are sometimes hard to remove.
