Viper V3 Pro 4k and 8k polling rates lower sensitivity in game

When playing multiple games if I use 4k or 8k polling the in game sensitivity decreases significantly to where it is unplayable. I have the latest firmware and the 8k wireless dongle is plugged into a USB 3.0 port. I have tried all of those ports with no change.
