Hello Support Team,

I would like to ask whether it is normal behavior for the Viper V3 Pro to lose approximately 8% battery after about 5.5 hours of use while set to a 1000Hz polling rate.

Hi bizGuppieGreenconnect9,

Thank you for reaching out with your question about the mouse's battery usage. Based on the information you’ve provided, a battery drain of approximately 8% after 5.5 hours of use at a 1000Hz polling rate sounds reasonable for high-performance devices like the Razer Viper V3 Pro. The 1000Hz polling rate means the device is communicating with your system 1000 times per second, which can increase power consumption. If you're looking to extend battery life, consider the following tips:

  1. Lowering the polling rate can help conserve battery life, although it might slightly impact performance in fast-paced gaming scenarios.

  2. Check if there are any power-saving settings or modes available in the device software that might help extend battery life.

  3. Ensure that both your device firmware and drivers are up to date, as updates can sometimes improve battery efficiency.

If you notice any unusual battery drain or if the battery life significantly decreases, feel free to PM with your device serial number. All the best!
