Recently, the mouse has developed a defect with the scroll wheel. Specifically:
There is a noticeable mechanical, metallic noise when scrolling slowly downwards.
The noise is not present when scrolling quickly or when scrolling upwards (neither slowly nor quickly).
The problem is not on the entire wheel, but let's say on 3/4 of it.
Has anyone else had the same problem? How did you solve it? I contacted the seller and they told me that this sound is normal. It seems absurd to me that a mouse that cost €160 in March 2025 has this defect.
I am very disappointed. I don't think I will ever buy Razer products again if the quality is this poor.
While I wait to decide on a new mouse, is there anything I can try to reduce this annoying sound? Thanks you.
