Viper V3 Pro only tracking on some surfaces

I got my viper v3 pro about half a year ago and it’s been working great until now. For some reason my mouse randomly stops tracking when used on my mousepad, I have an artisan raiden xsoft. Sometimes its enough to press the power/dpi button to get it going again, but most of the time I have to restart the mouse completely for it to pick up my mousepad again. The weird thing tho is that my mouse seems to always work fine on other surfaces, like my table for example. Even if the mouse stops tracking on the pad I can still use it on the table without restarting or anything like that. Also, this doens’t seem to happen while playing games, or at least it hasn’t happened yet.

I updated the firmware on both dongle and mouse when I started encoutering these problems, so I have the latest versions for both.

Hi Pecus_,

I understand that your Razer Viper V3 Pro stopped tracking on an Artisan Raiden XSoft mousepad but works fine on other surfaces. This issue might be related to the surface of your Artisan Raiden XSoft mousepad. To resolve it, please try resetting your mouse's surface calibration in  Razer Synapse 3 or Razer Synapse 4. Also, make sure to avoid surfaces that are rough, shiny, or glossy, such as glass or similar materials. Feel free to PM me with the mouse's serial number so I can check for other potential workarounds. Thanks!
