Viper V4 Pro loose left button

Hi everyone,

After about five days of using my Razer Viper V4 Pro, the left mouse button started feeling loose. I don’t even have to click it — simply resting my finger on the button can make it produce a strange little popping sound. It feels as if the button shifts slightly before the actual click, which is uncomfortable and especially distracting when playing CS2.

Sometimes, clicking several times or pressing the button more firmly makes the popping go away temporarily, but it eventually comes back. It seems to depend on how I press the button.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix, or should I return the mouse? It’s only a week old, so this is pretty disappointing.

Thanks!

Hey there, @proudieee

I understand that the left mouse button on your Razer Viper V4 Pro feels loose and produces a popping sound even when you're just resting your finger on it. To help me assess the issue further, could you please provide the following information:

  1. Did the popping sound start suddenly, or was it present from the first day of use?
  2. Does the issue only affect the left mouse button, or does the right mouse button exhibit similar behavior?
  3. Is the popping sound purely physical/mechanical, or does it also result in unintended clicks being registered?
  4. Have you noticed any visible gap, wobble, or uneven movement on the left mouse button compared to the right one?
  5. Could you share a short video demonstrating the issue, if possible? You can upload the video using this link and then send me the link once it’s uploaded.

Also, please provide your device’s serial number via PM so I can check its details in our system and assist you further. Thank you!
