My Viper V4 Pro dongle stopped pairing with the mouse, and I'm hoping someone has a fix. Support told me to get a refund, but I'd like to fix it if I can.
Right out of the box, I downloaded the latest firmware and the pairing utility. Partway through the pairing process, something failed. The dongle's light turned off, and the mouse now works only when wired.
I may have caused it by plugging the dongle into a USB port on the top of my PC case instead of one on the motherboard.
When I reopen the utility to re-pair, the dongle connection screen flickers for a moment, then goes blank. It never shows a successful pairing, and the Pair button does nothing when I click it.
Has anyone seen this or found a way to recover my dongle?
TL:DR- do not use the pairing utility when it’s already connected and paired 😭
