I am having the exact same issue with my Kraken V3 Pro. Ever since the update yesterday (15th of October) the volume absolutely MAXES out whenever I tab into anything. This means both games, browser tabs etc etc. Also every messaging applications notifications are maxed out at all times now since I am not tabbed into them actively, so every discord message is blowing my ears up. I assume it’s an issue with the update, best we can do is let them know and hope they fix it.

I am running Razer Kraken Kitty (original version, idk if there are new ones) and have had this issue for over a year now and I have no idea how to fix it. It is absolutely awful though, and I have been having to take off my headphones on the start of everything i do.

also maybe semi related? somehow, webkinz audio evades my mute settings and deafeningly loud sounds still make it through for at least 1 second before it actually mutes (despite being for sure muted the whole time), and like, to clarify, it will do this periodically; i get at least 1 loud as hell noise every few minutes despite the game being muted in windows settings.

i have had the same issue on my razor headset, I found that disabling audio enhancements in windows sound setting, which essentially just deactivates thx audio fixes the issue, Obviously at the cost of thx audio.

Hey guys!

Could you please confirm if you are still experiencing this issue? Additionally, does the problem occur with or without Razer Synapse running in the background?

Please try disabling Razer Synapse by following the steps provided in this link and let me know if that resolves the issue.
