Volume wheel on headset not working - Razer Kraken Kitty Edition headset

I just got a new headset, plugged it in and installed it. As far as I can tell, it functions and sounds great. Only problem: the little scroll wheel on the headset isn't working. When I turn it to try and raise/lower the volume, I notice that it does not adjust the volume. However, the volume bar still pops up on my screen as if it recognized me raising or lowering the volume my laptop's keyboard. I installed Razer Synapse with Chroma Connect, Chroma Studio, and Chroma Visualizer. I'm not sure what to do. Can anyone help me with this? I'm working off of a windows 10 laptop. Thanks in advance!
