volume wheel working as a scroll - Razer Huntsman Elite

Hey guys,

 

I saw similar threads and people shared solutions but none worked for me. So, I have  Windows 10 and own Huntsman Elite keyboard. After updating to Synapse 4 I can’t volume up, down and mute with the keyboard’s volume wheel. The only way to control the sound volume is to open the sound mixer and to move it up or down with the mouse. When I exit Synapse, the wheel starts working.

I have uninstalled Synapse and installed it again, changes USBs ports as well but both did not work out for me.

 

Any other guesses?

    My issue got fixed as my windows installed an update - Cumulative update preview for Windows 10 22h2, After restarting it got fixed.

    lol no lie I've had this problem for about 3 years now i just put some WD40 on the scroll wheel and that fixed the issue.

    Same issue started happening to me today - Huntsman elite keyboard.
    I saw many people having the same issue on reddit, and some of them fixed it by changing the USB ports or reinstalling synapse, or rebinding the volume wheel, but none worked for me.

    I keep having issues with my razer products, first the webcam, then all the keyboards I have on 3 pcs, mostly witht he volume wheel - I’m really hating the quality of my razer products right now
