Hello,

I purchased a Razer DeathAdder V2 (2023, Optical Switch) mouse from Bic Camera in Japan. The device is now defective, and I am currently located in Thailand. I would like to request a warranty claim (RMA).

Device details:

  • Model: Razer DeathAdder V2 (2023) - Optical Switch
  • Serial Number: [ S/N: removed for security purposes]
  • Purchase date: [02/12/2025]
  • Purchased from: Bic Camera, Japan
  • Issue: [The scroll wheel does not work 100% of the time. Sometimes it fails to register when scrolling down, and occasionally when scrolling down, it registers as scrolling up instead (inconsistent/reversed scroll direction).]

I have proof of purchase (receipt/tax invoice from Bic Camera) ready to provide for verification. Could you please advise on the next steps for the warranty claim? Thank you.

Hey there, @Wr4thSH

I understand that your Razer mouse is experiencing intermittent scroll wheel issues, where scrolling down is not always registered correctly. I also understand that the mouse was purchased from Bic Camera in Japan and that you are currently located in Thailand and would like to proceed with a warranty claim.

Based on our warranty policy, if you purchased the product from a Razer reseller, please contact the reseller regarding your limited warranty claim. Since the mouse was purchased from Bic Camera in Japan, we recommend reaching out to Bic Camera directly to inquire about the available warranty options and claim process for your device.

Additionally,  I have edited your post and removed your device's serial number for security purposes. If you have any questions, please send me a PM, and I'll be glad to assist you further. Thank you!
