webcam/mic issues??

I have been reading a lot of articles and sites and videos where people are having issues with there webcam/mic on there razer blade 15s, just stops working and they say there is no fix. i have not had this issue (knock on wood) but has anyone here had it happen to them??

    Hey I had this issue with my 2018 Advance model, Razer kindly sorted me with an RMA to get it sorted. Just got the laptop back yesterday (26/05/2020). They swapped the screen over and now the camera and mic works fine. But they did change my 144Hz screen for a 60Hz one.. which is a real let down.. Have to see how they can sort that!

    that sucks, ya my razer blade 15 advanced mercury white model is a 2019 year make. i just found out the 2019 models did not have the webcam issue. if i were you id call razer and ask them why they short handed you on your screen. they will probably make it right.

    also, what are the specs on your razer??

    I've messaged them with the information, have to wait and see what comes back from them. As for specs: Full HD 144Hz GTX 1060 Max-Q 512 SSD i7-8750H 2.20Ghz 16GB RAM I use it with a Core X and a RTX 2070 Super 👌

    thats cool, cause the 1060 max q is a weak card. my razer has the rtx 2070.
