I have not had any sound issues with my Tournament edition headset until this morning. Everything coming through the headset has a strange sound that I cannot articulate. It like nothing in life I can use to explain. I did a reboot with the same result. I will try to explain. It is like rapid pulses, approximating 60-hertz rate and it is syncopated. I will get bust of pulses may be 20, impossible to count, and it will be three sets of pulses.

Update! It is not the headset. When plugged directly into the soundcard it is fine. It is the USB controller creating the issue or the App.

Last update. I tried repairing the software but it did not help. I uninstalled and reinstalled but the same problem. During the installation, I could hear sounds coming through that sounded normal. After installation, the same problem exists. I am going direct to sound card without my mic until somebody opines.
I am PC, Alienware area 51, and the OS is Windows 10.

Thank you. First, let me update you. I bought a $6 splitter and I am goign directly into my Soundblaster card with good results. of course, I miss the Synapse bells and whistles but at least my headset ifs functional now. Send, here is a link to Google Drive of the sound.

I got your serial number! I had to cover it for security reasons. So, your headset is working fine now but at the expense of not being able to use Synapse, is that correct? Hope you can send me a PM so we can continue our conversation there.

And yes, your understanding is correct. I am bypassing the USB controller and the Synapse App.
