why do i lose tracking when my Basilisk X Hyperspeed is struck?

I play geometry dash, so i have to click pretty hard for proper accuracy, but i’ve noticed recently that when i click as hard as i usually do, my mouse will completely lose tracking. left and right click will still work, though sometimes a massive half second of input delay exists for brief moments, but i won’t be able to move my cursor at all. it seems that i have to shake the thing or tap the underside of it firmly onto my desk repeatedly to get it to track again. pls help me
