Why does Razer Synapse 3 or Razer Cortex not open? | Razer Insider

I recently had an issue which required me to troubleshoot by uninstalling apps, one of which was Razer Cortex (which also uninstalled Synapse) .. upon re installation  neither Synapse 3 nor Razer Cortex open, I have tried running the program as admin, re installed it a few times, and even restarted my PC with no success.. I also wanted to hear from the community about potential solutions before I made a support ticket!

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused you. Before we start could you please provide us with more details?

 

  • Could you share your Razer Cortex logs with us via PM? (You can go to my profile and click on the “SEND MESSAGE” button to send me a pm)
  • One thing we need to confirm. After reinstalling, when you run Razer Cortex and Razer Synapse as an admin, which of the following is your case?
    • The main UI did not show and nothing happened. 
    • The main UI shows, but you cannot login with your RazerID.
    • There is a black screen when you launch Razer Cortex and Razer Synapse. 
    • None of the above. Please share more info with us so we can further investigate it.
