Why does THX spatial audio sound so bad (blackshark V2)

I have noticed a problem with thx spatial and discord...everyone sounds like they are in a small room with light echo....I haven't tried it in any games yet though, but the discord thing makes me turn It off. I am using a Blackshark V2 as well and noticed some things like the band being really tight, the cord being very short...Kinda regretting picking these up if other headsets are better quality like the HyperX cloud 2.

I don't really have a problem with anything else than THX. I love these headphones, they are very comfortable and with THX disabled they have a very good sound quality, the microphone also works really well. The only problem I have is that I want to use the spatial audio but the quality gets really bad, like... It works, I can hear where the opponent's are but everything sounds extremely bad.

I bought the razer blackshark V2 a long time ago and I noticed that the THX spatial audio sounds terrible so I always had it turned off. Recently my friend got himself new headphones (steelseries arctics 5) and I used them for a bit, the surround sound on them is very good and I could easily pinpoint my opponents location. This made me want to use surround sound on my headphones so I could also hear everything better around me. Is there a way to fix the muffled and echoey sound?

I have found the fix, I simply had to turn off THX competitive mode. It made games sound much clearer and better overall.

i've seen online people's thx app looks very different to mine, I have the latest version which i'm currently trialing until i can buy it, is there any difference between trial and paid and how is the latest version supposed to look like, I am using a headset plugged into my motherboard, I also have a steelseries usb gamedac as well. The thx app is missing a lot of features and settings i've seen other people using, what am I missing, do I need synapse as well as i have standalone thx but even with synapse thx is still separate and not incorporated into synapse and have all the options others do, how do i get it working properly and have all the options and features even if the game isn't supported by this program as there's no option for me to add to the list and some games don't work at all with synapse, can we fix this please
