My laptop is crashing to BSOD with a couple of different error messages. Restart takes me to bios. Everything I have tried simply gives me a message of unable to do it. System repair and restore both do this. Just return messages of "unable to repair" or "unable to restore". If I restart out of bios a time or two it will go back to regular desktop. I can't find any pattern to when it crashes.
I think this relates to the processor.. In the task tray I have a notification that I have processor driver updates available but going to intel and attempting to update the driver gives me a message that says something like the manufacturer has their own driver and won't let you install this one.
I tried rolling back the updates but was unable to tell it really rolled back, but in any event, it did not fix the problem.
Looking at the logs I see one critical error that pops up a lot. AESMService: SGX is Disabled at AESM Service startup
I have searched and find no helpful info here, or online.
I tried uninstalling the intel graphics and letting that get reinstalled automatically on reboot thinking that might be the problem but it still crashes. In fact, I need to end this now before it crashes again. Only laptop I have access to.
Please help. Signing off before BSOD monster comes.
