Windows won't recognize Razer mouse

Been having this issue for years but it needs to stop. How do I force Razer mouse to allow windows to detect it at startup. Any ideas?

What mouse is this?

Viper 8k on windows 10. Usually when I disable all the windows instances of the mouse and not razer it behaves. I've always known about this problem going back to my old razer mice. Razer should have put out a patch by now.

You mean detecting in Windows device manager? Or in Synapse software? Be sure that is plugged to directly USB 3.0 (or above), and not to some USB HUB. Also try updating motherboard chipset drivers.

Synapse has been shit since it came out. I keep coming here expecting that Razer will have fixed it or someone will have found an actual solution and not these boilerplate responses. I got a Naga Trinity, and was so happy when everything worked for a while. I thought maybe they had finally figured it out. Then Razer updated Synapse, and now it NEVER recognizes. Shame on me for not learning - I'm just done buying Razer products.

aye chill mate i know u are angry when things like this happen. Trust me, I know that feeling very well xD Look for something like this there is 3 possibilities that could happen, USB Port, Software, and hardware Hardware. the only way we can find the issue is to try it out 1 solution at the time for example its the port it self, if its broken or USB Port gen is lower it can be the issue, or software u can do such as clean re installing the software and if its come to hardware there is no way to fix it unless u get the replacement

If you're having problem with Synapse detecting devices - please try this (it helps in most cases):
  • Uninstall Synapse
  • Download and run Razer cleaner tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj
  • Restart PC
  • After restart download Synapse installer, and run it as administrator.

Try to repair the application by following these steps. If that didn't help, perform a clean re-installation by following this guide. If you're still having the same issue, let me know by sending me a PM so I can forward this to the Software Team. I will lock this thread to curb our conversation to PM.
