Wired Basilisk V3 Stopped working


I have a basilisk v3 (wired) and it just randomly broke out of nowhere. I updated the firmware and it didnt work, I reinstalled windows and it didnt work, I reinstalled synapse and it didnt work. Everything appears to not work but the light on the infared sensor on the bottom appears to work but it dosent move my cursor. Sometimes it works after not plugging it in for a long time but then it stops working again. Any Fixes/Extra info about this situation?

I got the exact same issue with my wired basilisk v3 two days ago. Red blinking and won’t connect to any device.

exact same problem today, no issue with any other razer products. have removed all razer items from firmware and installation locations, reset windows, still will not working. Dead mouse.

Hello, I own a Razer Basilisk V3 (wired). It was gifted to me brand new but somehow doesnt work on a mousepad. Even if the surface is smooth it doesnt work properly. I do have a small mousepad which is around 2 years old. Even with that the mouse doesnt work. I tried it on an actual razer mousepad but the issue is still there. Please I really need help for this issue. Thanks.

Hey! I am facing same issue it was working fine till yesterday and all of a sudden it stopped working, like it tries to connect and disconnects immediately from my laptop. Please let me know if you have any solution this issue.Thank you.


I am getting the same issue on the Basilisk V3. I love the product and worked for me for a year but I wasn’t using a mouse pad. I finally gave in and bought the Razer Fire Fly V2 mouse pad, and that is house I discovered that my Basilisk mouse does not work on ANY mouse pad. Razer, please help. Huge fan here of your product for a while now. We just need help find a remedy for this issue, thank you.

I restarted my computer and it stopped working. Razer ? NEVER AGAIN!
