recently purchased the Wolverine V3 Pro controller, and it was working great for a couple months, best controller I’ve ever had. I booted up yesterday to play and the controller will not connect to my Xbox series x. I am using the dongle.

1st troubleshooting method: The dongle is plugged in firmly.

2nd troubleshooting method: Both USB ports in my console were tested with reader I have.

3rd troubleshoot method: Turn off the controller, unplug the dongle, and factory reset the xbox. Plug it back in and try again. Didn’t work.

4th troubleshoot method: Plug the razer controller into the xbox series x directly with the Razer provided cords. Still didn’t work.

5th troubleshoot method: Plug the controller into my PC directly, and update the firmware. This worked and the controller registered. I did an update. The dongle did not need an update.

6th troubleshooting method: I repeated methods 1-4 from above, now with the updated firmware. Nothing.

Also, I made sure the controller is in Xbox mode.

Hello soloDarkBrowncar718,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your Razer Wolverine V3 Pro. It sounds like you’ve already tried a lot of great troubleshooting steps! Here are a few more suggestions to help get your controller back up and running:

  1. Update through Console Settings: Make sure your controller is updated via your Xbox Series X settings. You can find the update option in the Accessories section of the dashboard. If you’re not sure how to navigate, the console's user guide can be a helpful resource.

  2. Remove Accessories: Before you attempt to update firmware, try disconnecting any other accessories or devices from the console. Sometimes having too many devices connected can interfere with the update process.

  3. Power Cycle Your Console: A good old power cycle can work wonders. Turn off your Xbox Series X, unplug it from the power source for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and start it up again.

  4. Test Wireless Connection: After power cycling, try pairing your controller wirelessly again. Make sure it’s in Xbox mode as you mentioned.

  5. Try Another Console: If you have access to a different Xbox console, it might be worth testing your Razer controller there. This can help determine if the issue is with the controller or the original console.

I hope one of these steps helps you get your controller working again! Feel free to PM me if you need further assistance. Have a great day!
