Wolverine TE connected to computer but not working

Just bought a new controller (wolverine) plugged it in and all i get is a blinking light when i press the xbox button, tried to install the software but it says that the controller is not plugged in

Hey there! Thanks for posting your Razer Wolverine TE's concern here. What Razer software did you install on your PC? Have you tested the controller in a game installed on your PC? Please send me a PM together with the device serial number. Let's continue from there.
