Wolverine Tournament Edition voice chat headset problem

when using with the xbox one & a voicechat headset (one with one earphone & mic 3.5mm jack), there seems to be no way to have just voice chat in the headset when connected to the wolverine tournament edition. you get both voice & game. the option in the xbox settings is gone & unlike the ultimate edition where you can press the volume button on the joypad & use the D pad as a mixer there seems to be no feature for this. when using the standard xbox joypad with the same headset I get only voice chat in the voicechat headset (as I want). so it seems its how the razor joypad is picked up with the xbox. any help?

    well, Razer just say it seems its incompatible, seems pretty bad for a licenced joypad. they need a firmware update, or perhaps the joypad is faulty & needs replacing? Ive tried with 3 different headsets (one even had a built in sound mixer) & still didnt work. bad customer service. ref #210319-001171
