Wolverine Ultimate controller not working.

I just got my new controller today, I tried put the cable on, read all the manuals, installed the synapse but the controller was not working. Eventually I went to my sister's computer and what I noticed is contrary to when I plugged it to my computer, it immediately turned the lights on the controller on which was not happening on my computer. I don't know what to do, please help!.

Does your PC at the very least detect a new device is plugged in? If so, can you put up a screenshot of how the controller appears in the Device Manager? For now, make sure you have all the latest Windows updates installed.

This is the problem. For some reason, your computer is not automatically installing a driver for the controller. Do you get the same results after switching ports and have you already ran Windows Update?

I ran windows update and tried all ports.
